First,
we transfer all of your old family 8mm and 16mm film to
DVD disc in its entirety. We then send you a copy
to review, or sit down with you in our studio and decide/edit
what parts you want to retain and/or delete. We then integrate
into the edited videotape appropriate titles, music, special
effects and family still photos and slides to create your own,
customized Family History Video.
The cost of transferring your film to video
is extremely reasonable at Keepsake Family Moments.
There is a charge
of $.12/foot of film to be transferred. (additional charges for Super 8mm with sound and 16mm Sound film reels)
As a benchmark, the original film reels (before splicing) are
usually 3'' in diameter and hold 50 feet of film. Thus,
each would cost only $5.00 each to transfer to DVD.
With your transfer, we provide (at no extra cost) free editing
programs to remove unwanted clips (e.g. too light, too dark,
unfocused, etc...) along with a musical background. |
